JOHN'S CHALLENGE
John was seeking a solution that would allow him to grip onto objects and be dexterous enough to allow him to pick objects up off the ground. John is an amputee and wheelchair user, and finds that this limits his ability to pick things off the floor independently..
THE SOLUTION
The stick has a claw section that is activated by pulling the looping wires. John is able to hold the end of the stick and holder with a socket and repurposed upper crutch.
