THE CHALLENGE

Orlin would like to connect with other people with a disability in her community. Orlin would like to develop an accessible and inclusive communication platform which allows users to see upcoming events in the community and talk to each other in chatrooms.

THE SOLUTION

The team developed a mock-up of a social connectedness platform which they have called TRYBE. The platform facilitates connections between individuals based on interests, skills, and location. Additionally, it encourages community organisations to join and promote in-person group events for those with similar interests by having a community event tab.
