The intended purpose of this device was for Nick who has vision loss. As Nick is an IT professional, there are situations in which Nick would like to be able to detect the colour of LED lights, whether they are on/off and if they are flashing. The purpose of this device was to enable Nick the opportunity and independence to be able to identify these LED lights.
The device is an optic fibre cable which is linked to a phone. Accompanied by an adjoining app called the LACS app that will be able to identify the colour of LED lights, whether they are on/off and if they are flashing.
